The Schola has originated from the annual Vilnius University summer academy „Ad Fontes“ in Kražiai (since 2002). The purpose of the academy has been a renewal of the studies of the sacred chant and the ancient Roman liturgy alongside with the local liturgical customs in Lithuania.
